Project ALS Family
Student, Advocate; San Diego, CA
I’m a senior in high school from San Diego, CA who was introduced to ALS when my grandfather passed away from the heinous disease last April. Since then, I have flown in to New York City many times to work closely with the Project ALS team who I have discovered to be the most caring, supportive, and enthusiastic group of people I have ever gotten the pleasure to work with. Every day spent with them is a day filled with both laughter and meaningful conversations, both of which have taught me so much about ALS and life in general. Project ALS has encouraged me even further to continue my efforts to strike out ALS not only in memory of my grandpa, but also Jenifer Estess and everyone else suffering.
