Nancy Bonini, Ph.D.
Dr. Bonini is the Lucille B. Williams Term Professor of Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a joint appointment in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, where her lab uses the Drosophilia (fruit fly) model to study neurodegenerative disease. She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the Institute for Medicine, and more, and her many awards include the Ellison Medical Foundation Senior Scholar Award in Aging and the John Merck Scholars Award in the Biology of Developmental Disabilities in Children.
