Project ALS Family
Research Specialist, Howard Hughes Medical Institute/Columbia University
I am a research specialist working in the laboratory of Tom Jessell at Columbia University. This is where I first became aware of Project ALS. I went to my first fund raiser over 15 years ago and have been a supporter of Project ALS ever since. Unfortunately in those 15 years I have met too many people who have had their lives cut short due to this terrible disease. Project ALS has been a pioneer in the advancement of understanding ALS, but there is still so much more that needs to be done to make ALS a thing of the past. Until then I will continue to support Project ALS and all the wonderful things they do.
