The Most Important Ice Bucket Challenge Video You’ll See
By Meredith & Valerie Estess | 21 August 2014
We know the devastation of ALS first hand. Our sister, Jenifer Estess, was diagnosed with ALS, seemingly out of nowhere, at age 35. We started Project A.L.S. together, as a family, with our friends, because we wanted more results from medical research.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has brought much-needed awareness and funds to ALS–but now it’s time to translate those generous donations into real help for ALS patients. Please watch this video about how Project A.L.S. started and what we’ve accomplished so far–and help us translate these discoveries, finally, into the first effective treatments for this terrible disease.
