Rainforest and Saks Fifth Avenue to Donate Proceeds from Innovative New Jacket and Other Products to Project ALS
25 October 2016
It’s about the time of year when temperatures are quickly declining and a warm coat is not far from everyone’s thoughts. If you’re planning on purchasing new outerwear this season, why not donate to life-changing research at the same time? During the entire month of November 2016, 10 percent of proceeds from all Rainforest merchandise sold in participating Saks Fifth Avenue stores will be donated to Project ALS. Rainforest is a luxury brand focused on creating innovative outerwear through fine craftsmanship with timeless appeal.
In tandem with this generous promotion, Rainforest has released a jacket that uses new “Heat System” cold-weather technology. Heat System incorporates the jacket with a power pack that adds three heated panels, three temperature settings, and a rechargeable USB battery. The power pack actually heats up the jacket, providing the wearer ultimate comfort in a range of temperatures. The rechargeable USB battery can be used to charge cell phones and other devices, adding convenience to functionality. All of this technology is packaged into a sleek jacket that removes the bulkiness from cold-weather gear.
We are extremely grateful to Rainforest and Saks Fifth Avenue for their willingness give to such an important cause as raising awareness and finding a cure for ALS. If you would like to purchase the new Heat System jacket, or any Rainforest product, and in turn contribute to Project ALS, visit a participating Saks Fifth Avenue store or visit www.saksfifthavenue.com this coming November.
